Thank you for your feedback

The draft Queensland AgTech Roadmap aims to accelerate the digital and technological transformation of Queensland agribusinesses.

A copy of the draft roadmap can be downloaded from the document library.

Submissions closed at midnight, Monday 17 April 2023.

AgTech will transform global agriculture and drive productivity, sustainability, traceability, provenance, biosecurity preparedness and response, climate resilience and emissions reduction.

The AgTech Roadmap sets out Queensland’s framework for accelerated development and adoption of agricultural technology by agribusinesses, producers, developers, education providers, governments and investors.

It will strengthen our digital agriculture capabilities worldwide and grow economic opportunities statewide.

It will underpin food security for food supply chains and agricultural jobs, and ensure our world-class products meet the expectations of tomorrow.

The roadmap has been informed by feedback from community forums held throughout Queensland, and a survey, in May and June 2022.

The draft roadmap includes actions five focus areas:

  • strengthen the innovation ecosystem
  • activate innovation infrastructure
  • attract and build local capability
  • be globally connected
  • coordinate for action.
The survey is now closed. Thanks for participating.
