Rural economic development grants

Rural Economic Development Grants can be used by eligible applicants for projects which create economic and employment opportunities across rural and remote Queensland.

Examples of projects eligible under the grant program could include the development of new products or markets, or improved business processes where such investment creates employment.

These grants are available to a range of applicants such as medium sized businesses (any business under 200 employees) including primary producers with projects in rural and remote Queensland.

This program is administered by the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA). Please check QRIDA’s website for when grants rounds are open and closed.
