Commercial fishing rules

The Automated Interactive Voice Response (AIVR) phone system has been upgraded. Commercial fishers must now call the following numbers to report notices:

  • All east coast fisheries and the Gulf of Carpentaria mud crab fisherycall (07) 3031 8225
  • Gulf of Carpentaria black jewfish fishery – call (07) 3031 8235
  • Gulf of Carpentaria shark fishery – call (07) 3031 8215
  • Vessel tracking (manual reporting and checking unit polling status) – call (07) 3031 8283
