QFish

Welcome to QFish

The QFish website provides information on Queensland fisheries resources and spatial datasets (layers) using interactive tools. You can view and download information on fishing activities as well as display this information on a map.

The QFish mapping interface allows users to spatially view the selected summarised fisheries data. The interface has simple mapping functionalities for users to browse the map (e.g. pan, zoom, export) and print the mapping product. The mapping layers are in ESRI shapefile format, and most of these layers can be downloaded from the QGIS website or sourced from the ESRI online website.

** Note - the Recreational Survey data and Recreational Fishing Participation data are no longer available on QFish. This data can viewed on the Statewide recreational fishing surveys dashboard.
