  • July 2021

    We engaged CSIRO to deliver an independent analysis of low emissions pathway options for Queensland agriculture.

  • August 2021

    We ran a crowd-sourced innovation challenge to come up with ideas to lower agriculture emissions.

  • November 2021

    We hosted 5 industry workshops to test the pathways.

  • February 2022

    CSIRO delivered the Low emissions pathways for Queensland agrifood report.

  • April 2022

    We hosted 4 industry workshops to test the CSIRO recommendations.

  • June 2022

    We opened public consultation on the draft roadmap. This was open for 6 weeks.

  • March 2023

    We released the Queensland Low Emissions Agriculture Roadmap 2022–2032.

  • December 2023

    We worked with stakeholders to develop an implementation plan.

  • June 2027

    Complete a mid-term review of the roadmap.
