The Greater Graduate Program provides opportunities across six Queensland Government departments, including the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF).
DAF promotes profitable primary industries for Queensland. We provide expertise and support to assist the state's food and fibre industries to increase productivity, improve sustainability, grow markets and adapt to change.
We deliver world-class research and development, provide leadership on industry policy, protect industries against pests and diseases and maintain animal welfare standards, manage fisheries sustainably and maximise the value of state-owned forests.
The department recruits graduates from a diverse range of disciplines, including:
- agricultural science
- science/applied science
- wildlife biology
- horticultural studies
