Australian Fisheries Management Forum

The Australian Fisheries Management Forum (AFMF) is an informal network for sharing information and enhancing collaboration between state, territory and federal government fishery management agencies. It is not a decision-making body.

The heads of these agencies are members of the forum, with observers from relevant bodies (including the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation).

AFMF is currently administered by Queensland and chaired by Graeme Bolton (Deputy Director-General, Fisheries and Forestry, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries).
