Reef line fishery working group
This working group provides operational advice on the management of the Queensland reef line fishery.
The reef line fishery is a line-only fishery, with commercial, recreational and charter fishers targeting a range of bottom-dwelling reef fish. The fishery operates predominantly in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, with commercial and charter operators generally using smaller tender boats (dories) to fish independently from a mother vessel.
