What's special
Jones Weir is stocked by the Mundubbera Anglers Fish Stocking Association Inc. The weir is stocked with Australian bass, golden perch and silver perch. In 2017/18 8,197 golden perch and 6,558 Australian bass were stocked into Jones Weir. This weir was included on the SIP scheme during 2017.
Location
Jones Weir is located on the Burnett river at Mundubbera. This site is popular for both fishing and water sports with no vessel restrictions in place. Facilities available include a good boat ramp, toilets, covered picnic tables and barbeques. Camping is no longer available at the weir,but there are a large range of options in nearby Mundubbera.
