What's special
Lake Gregory is stocked by the Bundaberg Sportsfishing Club Inc. Fish Stocking Committee. The dam is stocked with Australian bass, silver perch and saratoga. In 2016/17, no fish were stocked, though 15,000 Australian bass and 45 saratoga were stocked from SIPS permit sales in 2015/16. A total of 310,706 Australian bass, 30,948 silver perch and 95 saratoga have been stocked from SIPS.
Location
Lake Gregory is located half way between Bundaberg and Childers on the Isis Highway. Access is via the Isis Highway turning into Voss Road and finally turning right into the dirt track when you seen the small pump shed. Camping is not permitted here and there are no facilities provided for visitors. There are no boating restrictions on Lake Gregory. Dam operators Sunwater, have a rule of no more than 6 knots.
