Theresa Creek Dam is stocked by the Clermont Fish Stocking Group Inc. The dam is stocked with barramundi, golden perch and saratoga. The dam was stocked in 2015/16 with 14,200 barramundi and 34,147 golden perch from SIPS permit funds. A total of 24,875 barramundi, 47 saratoga and 34,147 golden perch have been stocked in the dam from SIPS permit funds.
Location
Theresa Creek Dam is located 22km south west of Clermont. It is described as the oasis in the outback! There are no vessel ristrictions on the dam. All watersports are permitted. Camping is available at the dam for a small nightly fee. The facilities at the dam include toilets, coin operated gas barbeques, playground, boat ramp and a kiosk (food, drinks, gas and ice). Animals are also permitted at the dam. Other accommodation is available in Clermont.
