What's special
Yarramalong Weir is stocked by the Millmerran & Pittsworth Fish Stocking Association Inc. The weir is stocked with golden perch, Murray cod and silver perch. In 2017/18 4,045 golden perch and 166 Murray cod were stocked from SIPS permit sales. The weir joined SIPS in 2016 but has previously been stocked from other funding sources.
Location
Yarramalong Weir is located on the Condamine River approximately 30km east of Millmerran on the Yarramalong Road. The weir is suitable for small vessels and paddle craft. Accommodation is availbale at the free camp on the south side of the river. The facilities at the weir include toilets, picnic tables and open fire places. Dogs are allowed at the free camp, but must be kept on a lead at all times
