Leslie Dam is stocked by the Warwick District Recreational Fish Stocking Association Inc. The dam is stocked with golden perch, Murray cod and silver perch. In 2017/18, 133,928 golden perch, 15,010 Murray cod and 5,000 silver perch were stocked from SIPS permit sales. A total of 2,083,967 golden perch, 165,502 Murray cod and 274,000 silver perch have been stocked in Leslie Dam from SIPS.
Location
Leslie Dam is located 13km west of Warwick. All types of vessels are permitted on the dam. The dam is a popular spot for fishing and watersports. Accommodation is available at the Lake Leslie Tourist Park and Washpool Reserve Camping Ground. The facilities at the dam include toilets, barbeques, picnic tables and two kiosks that sell supplies. There are several trails around the dam suitable for walking and bike riding.
